Quick start guide - a step by step guide to using the converter for the first time
 

1. Click first '...' button to browse and select some AVI wmv asf or mpeg files. You can multiselect files in open files dialog-box with <ctrl> or <shift> key.

2. The output file path and filename will be generated automaticly. i.e. import filename is d:\media\first.avi, then output filename is d:\media\first.mpg.

3. In Export Type area, select convertion function item, function type has: DVD VCD SVCD MPEG1 MPEG2 ASF AVI and MP3

4. In Frame style area, select image resize style for every frame.

  • Fixed - frame will resize to fill in width x height
  • Proportional - frame will proportional resize to fit in width x height
  • Cropping - frame will be cropped in minimizedly and resize to fill in width x height

3. In Export Format, select NTSC or PAL.

4. In Export Size area. You can enter destination export size for video frame. This function is valid for AVI ASF MPEG1 and MPEG2

5. If you want to split large video into some small segment, check 'split mpeg' item. There are 2 method to split large video,

  • Size split, input small file size number, the default number is 600MB.
  • Time split, input small file time number, the default number is 60 seconds.

6. If you want to joint all imported file into one large video file, check ' jolint all imported file' item. The exported filename is the first filename in imported file list. You can change the sequence of imported files with clicking 'Up file' and 'Down file' buttons. And you can remove the current filename in file list.

7. To every imported file, you can define middle segment to be converted with videocutter function. Please refer to how to define segment with AVOnePlayer program.

8. Before click 'Start to Convert' button, maybe you want to paste your own logo image on exported video.

9. Click 'Start to Convert!' button to begin convertion.

10. For 'DVD' export type. there are 2 additional files will be generated. M2V is only video frame file, no audio data. MP2 is only audio data file.
